Munich or Munchen is the capitol of the Bavarian region of Germany. Placed 50kn north of the German Alps, Munich has a population of 1.4 million people. Whilst in the city of Munich, the public transport is excellent. The local MVV system blends trams, buses, U-Bahn and S-Bahn trains to make everywhere easy to find as well as easily accessible for everyone. Both car and bike hire is very easy with many designated bike zones in the area and like most beautiful cities; Munich is also a wonderful city to discover by foot.
